Hex Crawl - Chunky Pixel Asset Pack

Build a whole hex-map adventure in chunky pixel art.

Hex Crawl Pixel is a complete fantasy overworld kit: interlocking hex terrain, every road and river junction, heroes, monsters, map locations, loot, status effects, UI, and a pixel font. Everything uses one 34-color palette, so it all looks like the same game.

What you get:

• 45 hex terrain tiles: 15 biomes × 3 variants (grassland, forest, pine forest, jungle, hills, mountains, swamp, desert, water, deep water, tundra, volcanic, barrens, farmland, dungeon). Water and lava are animated.
• 126 road & river tiles: every junction combination across the 6 hex sides, plus a bridge. Paths line up across neighbouring hexes.
• 11 hex overlays: grid, select, hover, move range, attack range, danger, path dot, target, waypoint, fog of war
• 6 heroes: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Cleric, Ranger, Bard
• 9 monsters: Goblin, Skeleton, Slime, Wolf, Bat, Spider, Orc, Ghost, Demon
• 20 map locations: village, castle, tower, dungeon, shrine, ruins, portal, campfire, treasure, boss, quest, mystery, grave, merchant, stairs, signpost, windmill, mine, ship, party token
• 25 items: weapons, armor, potions, scrolls, keys, gold, gems, food, torch, map, bomb, herbs
• 13 status icons + 10 UI icons (hearts, mana, coin, cursor…)
• 19 animated idle strips: every hero and monster, plus campfire, portal, torch and quest marker
• UI kit: 9-slice panels, buttons with 4 states, health/mana/XP/stamina bars, item slots, hex portrait frame
• 5×7 pixel font with JSON metrics
• Ready-to-open Tiled map plus tilesets with the water and lava animations already set up

Formats:

• PNG at native size (32×28 hexes, 16×16 sprites) plus 2× and 4× copies
• Packed sprite sheets with JSON atlases at 1× and 4×
• Palette as .gpl, .hex and .png

Works with Godot, Unity, GameMaker, Phaser, Tiled, Defold, LÖVE and anything else that loads a PNG. The README covers hex layout math and engine setup.
